Vocational Nursing Program

VCMC’s Vocational Nursing curriculum provides students with an important opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a Vocational Nurse in a variety of different medical settings.

VCMC students will receive classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in fundamental areas of nursing, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical surgical, mental health, maternity, pediatric, and leadership nursing.

After our students successfully complete the program, VCMC students are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN® examination for licensure. We train our students in the methods to accomplish and pass this examination with a high pass rate.

VCMC graduates enjoy their chosen careers as Vocational Nurses. They may be employed as licensed vocational nurses upon licensing by the State Board of Nursing.

There are an abundance of employment opportunities nationwide for LVNs.

VCMC makes it happen!
